The Long Now by Fresh Theatre

The Long Now is an original theatre show created by the Fresh Theatre members over term one and two. Meeting on a Monday night, the performers have been working with their artistic director, Eva, sharing stories and experiences to develop the script and develop this original play.

Synopsis: In the year 2094, where adults cease to exist, teenage rebels fight to unravel the secrets of the New Melbourne leader and his oppressive regime. The characters grapple with the challenges of growing up and finding their place in a society that seeks to restrict them, and ultimately, reset their timeline to free themselves from complete control. The play explores the themes of youth, rebellion, and the struggle for self-determination in the face of an adult-dominated world.
