Community Art Resilience 2022

Art and Resilience Community Art project

The Arts, Culture and Events team here at the City of Whittlesea has launched a new Creative Program: Art and Resilience.

This program aims to connect communities by activating community centres while upskilling local artists in Community Cultural Development (CCD) practices.

Local artists have been selected from an application process. They will start with a weekend workshop with the Creative Recovery Network then will deliver art workshops throughout the City of Whittlesea in fourth term.

Projects will include mandala making, writing, singing, theatre/movement and creating art with glass. They will be exploring connection to nature, to each other and to your community.
