Super Kids Sunday 2021

Super Kids Sunday

Super Kids Sunday was the City of Whittlesea’s annual celebration of Children’s Week.

In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Super Kids Sunday was an online event that ran from Sunday 24 October until Monday 8 November. It was a dynamic and interactive experience for children and families based around the new Mill Park All Abilities PlaySpace, the event included entertainment and engagement from local artists, community members, music performers, scout troops and the local library along with a welcome and dance from Wurundjeri traditional owners.

The video below takes you through the archived version of the event where you can explore creative activities, craft, comedy and music. We also had information from Baseline Youth services, the Early Years team and other council services.

The event hosted live workshops from @AusLan, Trash Puppets, Dandyman, Reptile Encounters and the magical Nick Nickolas. There's even a secret game that will have people exploring every part of the event!

Settle in for storytime in a variety of languages and use your library card to explore the Story Box Library. There's something for all ages, delivered to you through a simple web portal so tune in and have fun.
