The northern suburbs' own Anna Go-Go, legendary dance teacher and mass dance master, is assembling a gang of locals to hang out with her to learn the Sharpie Shuffle as part of our Walking Thomastown event.
Anna is obsessed with Sharpie dancing, the only truly unique Australian dance crazes in modern history. A dance that is our own, rather than copied from American and British pop culture.
Sharpie dancing is not only fun, it's empowering, rebellious, it's a unique part of our local history and most importantly, anyone can do it!
Anna will run special workshops where you can learn the moves, learn more about Sharpie dance culture, and enjoy her super fun and inclusive teaching style while you're at it.
Sharpie dancing is easy, fun, free and open to all.
