Art Exhibition: Bulluk Wurrdhun, Bik Wurrdhun - many peoples, many places

The City of Whittlesea are proud to invite you to visit Bulluk Wurrdhun, Bik Wurrdhun.  Meaning “many peoples, many places” in Woi Wurrung language, the exhibition features artworks created by First Nations artists from around Australia, that express connection to culture and identity. 

The artforms, use of materials and creative mediums featured are as diverse as the ancestral lands that our artists come from, including influences from Wurundjeri, Wamba Wamba, Gunditjamara, Western Arrarnta, Luritja, Kokatha, Jinibara, Pintupi and Bundjalung cultures.

Artist talk:

Join us to hear from two of the artist featured in our current exhibition Bulluk Wurrdhun, Bik Wurrdhun.

Ray Thomas, a Brabrawooloong, Gunnai man from Victoria and Jade Kennedy, hailing from Wadjak boodja (WA) and Tatti-Tatti (Victoria), will speak to their their respective creative and cultural practices that inspire the creation of their stunning artworks.
