Community Festival 2022 - Festival Wrap-Up

Held over two days, the 2022 City of Whittlesea Community Festival was feature-packed with performances and activities to keep the whole community entertained for hours.

Hosted at PRACC and on the Civic Centre Lawns at 25 - 35 Ferres Boulevard in South Morang, the festival featured live music, theatre and community performances, delicious food, kids activities, free workshops, visual art, and more!


PRACC will came alive with a night of live music, glittering glam rock, phenomenal acrobatics, breathtaking aerials and a spectacular heart-stopping sideshow to kick off an amazing weekend of entertainment.
Friday Schedule:

7:00pm - Boogie Woogie piano with Damon Smith (45mins), PRACC Foyer
Award-winning composer, producer and performer, Damon Smith brought his best boogie woogie to liven up the pre-show foyer!

7:45pm - Welcome to country (15mins), PRACC foyer

8:00pm - Rebel show (60mins), Yan Yean Theatre, PRACC
Rebel - a live circus rock celebration of the original rebel, David Bowie.

Presented by the City of Whittlesea in conjunction with Nicholas Clark Management and Highwire
Supported by Rise Fund.

9:30pm - Varietyville: Acts of Absurdity (60mins), Woodstock Theatre, PRACC
Australia’s finest and funniest variety artists put on an unforgettable night of bite-sized morsels, masterful magic, chaotic clowning, preposterous physical feats, musical mayhem, hilarious hi-jinks and much more
Featuring Dan Oldaker, Rani Huszar, Liz Skitch and Mario (queen of the circus).


The main stage on the Civic Centre Lawn came alive on 26 March 2022 with an amazing line up of talented, nationally recognised musicians and local community performers including:

  • Georgia Fields
  • The Big Lost Band
  • The Dinomaniacs
