Weaving Community Harmony

Do you love to knit or crochet or would like to learn how? Do you love to sing?

Get involved in our Weaving Community Harmony, yarn bombing and singing project.

Yarn bombing is a type of street art using yarn or wool to decorate public spaces. The Weaving Community Harmony project aims to decorate trees (by yarn bombing) next to Mernda Community House at 2 Heals Rd, Mernda, to create a colourful installation for the community to enjoy. We hope to gather together and sing under the yarn bombed installation at Mernda Community House before the end of 2020.

Join the project by knitting or crocheting squares and rectangle pieces that we will attach to the trees and fencing at Mernda Community House.

This project is a collaboration between Nannas Home Basics, Busy Hives Craft Group, Mernda Strummers and Singers and Mernda Community House.
