2024 Annual Art Exhibition Update

Each year City of Whittlesea hosts an Art Exhibition to showcase and celebrate the work of artists who live, work or are connected to communities within the City of Whittlesea.

People of all ages and levels of experience are invited to apply and all art mediums, materials, processes, practices and interpretations are welcome.

This year, our theme is ‘Hope: Exploring the Spectrum of Possibility’.

Artists are invited to reflect on hope, from feeling low to very positive, from personal wishes to collective or shared goals and all the moments in between.

Show us your visions of a better future, your dreams of a perfect world, and your hopes for change.

How does hope guide us?
How does it help us stay strong in tough times?
How does it make us resilient?
Does hope last forever?
Is hope what makes us human?

How do you show and respond to this in your art?

Your interpretation of the theme is entirely open to your artistic vision.

Entries will open on towards the end of July and will close on Monday 17 November 2024. So, there is plenty of time to create your works.

We are working on the online submission form and details will be available in the coming weeks.
